Advisory begins at 8:30, with announcements and brief reminders regarding executive function skills.  As with our lower school program, the morning academic blocks are devoted to Slingerland and core academics.

 

 

In the afternoon, the schedule changes each day and include Social Studies, Art, Theater, PE, Science, Music, and STEM. Weekly, on Wednesdays, the whole middle school participates in Wednesday Circle, following the principles of Restorative Justice.

 

 

Students are released at 3:30, except on Wednesday, which is an early release day at 2:30pm.
